Meet Our 2021 Scholarship Recipient

Gracie Hayes
Gracie is a 2021 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School. She was Salutatorian of her class. Gracie has been playing French Horn in the concert band and mellophone in the Marching Band for her entire high school career. Gracie is also an accomplished violinist, playing in the Lima Youth Orchestra since 5th grade and also playing in the Ohio Northern Symphony Orchestra for the last 3 years of her high school career. She was in the Putnam County Honors Band all four years of high school and the OMEA District 3 Honors Band. Pep Band was also a part of Gracie's high school activities. Gracie achieved a superior rating at the OMEA High School Solo and Ensemble competition in both violin and French horn.
Other school activities include membership in the National Honor Society, Class President in her Freshmen and Sophomore years, Student Council, Cross Country, Track, Quiz Bowl, Key Club, Optimist Club and tutored at Sts. Peter & Paul School and Glandorf Elementary School. There is still more that could be added, but I think you can see why she is such a worthy scholarship reciepient. She will be attending Bowling Green State University this fall, majoring in instrumental music education.
2021 Scholarship Renewals
Arianna Consolo and Danielle Consolo will have their scholarships renewed for the upcoming academic year, 2021-2022. Both has excelled at Bowling Green State University in the Instrumental Music program. They have received high recommendations from the music department at Bowling Green. We are so happy that they are continuing their studies and represent the spirit of music that was a part of Jim's life.
Scholarship Renewals 2022
Arianna Consolo, Danielle Consolo and Gracie Hayes have had their scholarship renewed for the academic year of 2022-2023.. All three young women have received high recommendations from the music department at Bowling Green State University. We are so happy that they are continuing their music education.
